Discovering God Through My Abortion, Pt 3

Welcome to the third and final chapter of my story.  If you’d like to read the first and second parts, you can click here for part one and here for part two.

I realize this is going to cause a lot of controversy with some of my followers and new readers.  I also understand that I will probably lose many friends over this.  Some have heard me tell it before, but many have not.  For the longest time, I wanted to keep this hush-hush on my blog.  For several weeks now, however, I’ve been feeling a tug in my heart to share my walk with others.

That being said, I would like to issue a TRIGGER WARNING: There are some topics within this post that may be too difficult for other readers to continue reading.  This includes suicide, self-destructive behavior, and sexual assault.  If you or someone you know needs assistance, please seek help immediately.  There are people and ways that can help you overcome the struggles you are going through.  I have provided a few contacts below for you to anonymously reach out if you need help.

Daycamping in Sonora

I’ve been putting off writing this blog post because the last few months has been an emotional season for us.  We made some amazing new friendships and welcomed our son.  We said goodbye to our good boy, Apollo, and found out we’re moving right after the new year.  To say that the end of the year has been eventful is quite an understatement.  Throw in launching a brand new blog and you’ve got a recipe that calls for some much needed downtime.

And that’s exactly what we set out to do right before Thanksgiving.
